New Kristen Wiig Extract Poster
Seth Meyers Dream Guests on SNL
From OKmagazine.com -
Now that Bill Clinton has rescued journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling from captivity in North Korea, Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers is eager to have him on the variety show.
“You want charm and charisma, and Bill Clinton has that in spades,” Seth tells me during the Bollywood Hero premiere held at NYC’s Rubin Museum of Art. As for what role he’d play? “I think we’d just let him be Bill Clinton. I think we’d win that way.”
If the former president is unable to make an appearance, Oscar-winning Gandhi actor Ben Kingsley would also make Seth smile.
“Sir Ben Kingsley is one of the great actors of our generation,” he says.
Will Justin Timberlake join the cast when the 35th season begins this fall? After all, the frequent guest star praised for his Motherlover and D*** in a Box skits, honed his comedic chops on the mini-SNL training ground called the Mickey Mouse Club. (Watch a clip also starring Britney Spears! Here’s another one with Christina Aguilera.)
“I want to stress this,” Seth says. “What his future on SNL would require him to give up is a lot. It is far more lucrative being Justin Timberlake in a sense, but our door is always open for him because it’s paid off in spades anytime we’ve had him on.”
Bill Clinton & Ben Kingsley? Seth Meyers has some eclectic tastes.

Bill Hader To Be A Daddy!
Saturday Night Live star Bill Hader has confirmed that he and his wife are expecting their first child.
The actor and comedian made the announcement at the premiere of Paper Heart in New York, adding that the baby is due in September.
Speaking to People, he said: "I'm really excited. I think it's going to be awesome."
The star went on to joke that he will be the only current SNL cast member to have a child, saying: "Everybody will have to understand when I'm really tired! Kidding - I'm actually handling it well... [My wife] is awesome. Way tougher than I am."
Hader tied the knot with Maggie Carey nearly three years ago.
Congrats to the parents-to-be!

Amy Poehler Co-Anchoring Weekend Update Again?
From Entertainment Weekly:
NBC is bringing in the big guns to help launch its new Thursday night comedy lineup this fall. Actually, more like big gun: Amy Poehler.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Poehler will reunite with Seth Meyers behind the anchor desk for Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday on Sept. 17. The Poehler-ized Update will lead into the second season premiere of Poehler’s Parks and Recreation at 8:30 pm, followed by the return of The Office at 9, and the debut of the new comedy Community at 9:30. (30 Rock returns October 15.)
Wait — there’s more…
Poehler, who just scored a second consecutive supporting actress Emmy nod for SNL (word is she wisely submitted the “Palin Rap” episode), will co-anchor SNLWUT with Meyers the following Thursday (Sept. 24) as well. It’s unclear who (if anyone) he’ll be paired with for SNLWUT‘’s four scheduled episodes after that.
Amy and Seth, together again! Woo-hoo, right?!

Emmy Nominees Submit Episodes
The LA Times has revealed a partial list of what episodes the Emmy nominees have submitted to judges. It reveals that Amy Poehler has submitted Josh Brolin's episode which makes sense as she has the Palin Rap & that hilarious pregnant sketch/ad for perfume. The list does not reveal what episode Kristen Wiig has submitted, which leads me to ask -
What episode do you think Kristen should submit? In what episode did she really shine for you?

You know you've made it when Perez Hilton blogs about you. The self-proclaimed Queen of All Media ran this picture of Andy Samberg & Akiva Schaffer on his website the other day:

Accompanying the picture was this blurb:
Yesterday afternoon the SNL cutie patootie Andy Samberg was spotted shopping at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Samberg, and his equally dorky friend, walked through the mall though didn't seem to mind the paparazzi being in their face.
Nerds can be attention whores too!
Nice!
