Tina Fey to Host SNL This April

Tina Fey will host SNL in April (date unannounced as-of-yet) in order to promote her upcoming movie Date Night in which she stars alongside Steve Carell and a multitude of other actors - that's according to the AP. The AP are also reporting that a reprisal of Fey's now infamous Sarah Palin impression could be on the cards.
All I can say is - yay! Fey back at SNL - this has made my day fo' sho.

Kristen Wiig to Star in Apatow-Produced Comedy

The two dudes behind Freaks and Geeks are reteaming once more for a comedy starring Kristen Wiig. Paul Feig has been tapped to direct the comedy about two women who are battling for the chance to plan their friend's wedding party. The untitled film, based on a script by Wiig and Annie Mumolo, will be produced by Judd Apatow under his production company Apatow Productions.



Umm, yay! This sounds kind of awesome, and it's Kristen's first bona-fide lead role!

Abby Elliott To Appear On Letterman!

SNL wunderkind Abby Elliott will appear on Letterman next Wednesday. That's February 17 y'all.
Abby's dad Chris Elliott got his start as a writer/performer on Letterman, so that's probably how Abby got booked. That and her killer appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
I'll remind you guys closer to the time, obvz, but just giving you a heads up, in case you were gonna even think about watching something else.

Betty White To Host SNL

So probably everybody on here has heard about this, but if not, I would like to point you in the direction of a group that's campaigning to get TV legend Betty White to host SNL. I can't really think of anyone I'd like to see on SNL more. White is an out-and-out legend, and a national treasure, and anyone who has seen her at the SAG awards this year or on Chelsea Handler will know that she's hilarious and raunchy for an 88 year old - who better to host the late-night institution that is SNL? Joining the group probably won't get Betty booked, but it's worth a shot!

Tumblr vs Blogger

So, I'm thinking about making a transition to Tumblr. The proposed Tumblr would run alongside this blog, but would probably be less analytical/report-y and more fun/fangirl-y. However, I'm only going to start one, if the idea attracts enough attention/notice.

So basically, I'm wondering how many of you guys use Tumblr? And how many of you would check it out? I'm trying to build an empire here, so help a sister out! =P
