Abby Elliott Joins Cast of "High Road"

SNL starlet Abby Elliott has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy feature, "High Road". Written and directed by UCB founder Matt Walsh, the film follows a part-time weed dealer who goes on the run with a 16-year-old smartass after a drug deal goes bad.


Also in the cast are Horatio Sanz, Rob Riggle, Lizzy Caplan, Kyle Gass, Zach Woods, Seth Morris, Joe Lo Truglio, Andrew Daly and many more. 


The film, being produced by Northern Lights Films, began shooting this week.

SNL writer Colin Jost To Perform at Montreal Just For Laughs Festival

SNL writer Colin Jost is going to be performing at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival as part of its New Faces show, an industry showcase for the best and brightest up-and-coming comics. That’s according to The Comic’s Comic.

Other comics performing at the prestigious showcase include James Adomian, Variety Comic To Watch Jack Whitehall, Joe Mande, Andy Haynes and many more.

Andy Samberg joins cast of Friends With Benefits

Andy Samberg has joined the ensemble cast of the Justin Timberlake-Mila Kunis comedy Friends With Benefits, not to be confused with the Ashton Kutcher-Natalie Portman comedy formerly of the same title. 

Samberg along with a slew of other stars including Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Patricia Clarkson, Richard Jenkins, Jenna Elfman and Alex Rodriguez round out the cast of the movie which tells the predictable tale of a “pair of friends who slip into casual sex with each other”.

Congratulations to SNL writer Hannibal Buress who has been included among Variety's annual list of 10 Comics To Watch. Buress is included in a list of up-and-comers including Chelsea Peretti, Kyle Kinane, Chris Gethard, Garfunkel & Oates and many more.
