Both Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig were in attendance at the opening night of The Book of Mormon on Broadway last night. The Book of Mormon, from the creators of South Park and the co-creator of Avenue Q, has won rave reviews this morning and is definitely worth checking out if you happen to be in New York.

Kenan Thompson is slated to head the comedy penned by SNL writer Bryan Tucker. Party Starters is about an entertainer - the sort that gets people dancing at weddings and keeps the party going. Set up at Paramount Pictures, Party Starters will be produced by Lorne Michaels.

It was announced today that Helen Mirren, due to star in the upcoming film "Arthur", will host SNL on April 9 with musical guest The Foo Fighters. This will mark Mirren's debut hosting gig.

Hader, Wiig + Samberg to present at Comedy Awards
It has been announced that Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg will be among the presenters at this weekend's Comedy Awards. They join an illustrious assembly that includes Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart Tracy Morgan, Matt Stone, Trey Parker, Ty Burrell, Louis CK, Stephen Colbert and Rob Corddry.
The Comedy Awards take place this Sunday March 26 and will be broadcast on April 10. Saturday Night Live is nominated in three categories including Best Actress in a Comedy Series (Kristen Wiig), Best Sketch Comedy/Alternative Comedy Series and Best Directing in a Comedy Series.

The Lonely Island to release new album "Turtleneck and Chain" on May 10
Consequence of Sound is reporting via Direct Current that The Lonely Island will release their sophomore album "Turtleneck and Chain" on May 10. No word on guest collaborators or track listing, but I Just Had Sex and The Creep are sure to make an appearance.
