Kristen Wiig in This Month's "V" Magazine

V Magazine features a story on Kristen Wiig this month, complete with photos of Wiig inspired by Carmen Miranda, Frida Kahlo and Brigitte Bardot. The photos are pretty cool, and while the article cannot be read online, here are two snippets in which Jason Sudeikis and Jorma Taccone gush about Wiig.

"Something I always admire, especially in female comedians, is that they're willing to make themselves look terrible," SNL writer Jorma Taccone says in the accompanying story. "She looks so good in real life, and to transform herself into these horrible, contorted, defaced characters is so impressive, as is her willingness to throw herself into a character, no matter how horrendous; she does whatever it takes."

“There’s always a time when she’ll say, ‘Well, when I was a florist,’or ‘When I sold peaches on the street,’ or ‘When I went to massage school,’” Jason Sudeikis says of his “Saturday Night Live” cohort.“She’s a journeyman who can start a sentence from any number of non sequiturs.”
