What would an 18 year old know about Betty White? She's been milking this one note persona for a long time and it wasn't funny to begin with. I wonder how funny you'd think this promo is if the genders were reversed. If you don't appreciate a diversity of opinion being expressed then maybe you should rethink your career ambitions.

holy anonymous. ur a douche. you clearly have no idea what you are talking abt. good comedians can find grounds where every demographic can laugh at. i think shes a legend in her field and thats why SNL chose her. She's rich and famous and you are not. its simple as that. there's not much argument there.

What I have exception with is you calling her "no-talent whore". I would respect your "diversity of opinion" had you left it at calling it a ratings ploy on Lorne's behalf or even had you just insisted on saying that she's been milking the same persona for years, but when you call an 88 year old woman a whore for a promo that is clearly intended to be humorous, that's when I begin to disrespect your opinion.

And also, if it was say, Sid Caesar in the promo and there was a twenty-something feathering dust in the background, I would still think it was funny because it would be just as ridiculous.

Also, if you're so sure of your opinions and demand respect for them, why don't you reveal your name? Why hide under the ambiguous cloak of "Anonymous"?

I completely agree. She's been working solidly for sixty years and continues to receive praise -why shouldn't SNL celebrate her longevity and hilarity?

Do you usually call people over 60 years old as whores? If you do, really, wow, you don't have manners and you're rude as hell. Did someone not hug you when you were a child? I

Ms. White has been working for many years. There's a reason why she won 6 Emmys out of her career. Many people love and respect her. She worked damn hard to be where she is today and people like you are dickheads for disrespecting someone like that.

And I agree someone is a coward to not reveal their name because only cowards hide and say crap to not face the consequences of saying a horrible comment like that. I hope your grandma, if she still is alive, smacks the piss out of you.
